Your typical townhouse design is relatively straightforward. Side by side, back to back or spaced out on usually a fairly flat block. But not this project. The design needed to incorporate the fall of land and work around an old railway easement at the rear of the property.

“Just because it’s a townhouse, living space and functionality is “not negotiable”,” was the brief from this Developer. Working closely with an industry “partner” specialising in design for Town Planning, the end result was fabulous with a floorplan designed over 3 levels to work with the sloping block as well as adding an extra point of interest and living space which accentuated the quality finish of this duplex project.
